Carter, born in Placerville, CA at Marshall Hospital, was raised in El Dorado Hills, CA. Attending Silva Valley Elementary School, he had just finished 1st grade, beginning his summer before 2nd.
His father, Brandon Mecier, lives with his wife, Alisha, in Latrobe, and his mother, Emmy Mecier, lives with her fiancé, Martin Rowinski, in El Dorado Hills. Along with his loving parents and stepparents, his brother Mason Mecier, 14, step brother Daren Rowinski, 15, and step sister Sammy Rowinski, 13, adored their youngest family member, 7 year old Carter Mecier.
