   I didn’t get the pleasure of meeting Carter Emmy, but I want you to know I have not stopped praying for all of you. This has struck our community very hard and it’s a sad time now, but I know Carter is in God’s hands now. There are no words to express my grief, but to say that my thoughts & all my prayers are going strong and will always continue. I honestly cannot fathom how you & your family are feeling but I’m sending you love as is all the wonderful people that surround us here in EDH. God Bless you now & forever, Patricia Urata

   It makes my heart swell when I look at these pictures. What a wonderful little boy, so beautiful. Carter I’m sure Ive seen you several times, but I wish I could have met you and your family. It really hurts me, because my son looks so familiar to Carter. He is even small for his age. I can only imagine how much pain is among everyone right now, mainly his family, his parents and siblings. I will honestly never ever forget Carter, and my prayers will always be with the family.

   Such a sweet little boy, Adi really does look like him… I hope Adi grows up to be as sweet and loving to animals like Carter was. I love that picture of Carter with Berg and Nanuk, or rather with “the white dog” as he used to say…. I love you Emmy I am always here for you.

   Brandon, Alisha and family. I am deeply saddened by this tremendous loss you and your families must feel. My prayers and thoughts are with you. May the Father shine light through this darkness as he will now on your little one.

   I can’t imagine the feeling of losing a child. We tend to take for granted the lives of our children. When one is taken from us way too soon, you realize what we have in our lives that we take for granted too much. May Carter live through each and everyone one of you who knew him. Just know that your family is in our thoughts. Lean on eachother and on God through this dark time. He will lead you through, and someday you will be with your sweet Carter again.

   Emmy and family, may your pain and heartache grow less each day by the wonderful memories you have of Carter and how much he touched the lives of everyone around him. I never got to meet Carter, but my children Matthew and Madelynn were friends with him at school and they will miss him very much.
